Yes we do! we have tried to clearly state our terms of service and you can read them here.
Q - Does Custom-Tech have a money-back guarantee?
Yes we do although it is subject to certain criteria. We have a 14 day money back guarantee on any hosting product purchased that is canceled within 14 days from the time payment was taken. This excludes any accounts that have been suspended, terminated or in any way infringed out TOS agreement as stated here. Payment will be refunded within 28 days. Any non-hosting product is excluded from this guarantee, this includes non-refundable items such as domain registrations and SSL certificates.
Q - What sort of support do you offer?
We offer 24/7 support via email and support tickets for absolutely any questions both pre and post sales. We also offer support via real time chat 9am - 5:30pm GMT. This service is available only to Custom-Tech clients.
Q - How quickly is a package set up?
Typically a package is set up instantly once payment has been taken. There can be some delays between payment processing and payment being taken however these are generally no longer than a few minutes. Once your account has been set up you will be able to log in straight away and start using it to do whatever you wish.
Please be aware that it can take up to 48 hours for DNS records to propogate, this means although your website will be visible through your package, it may not be visible externally online until this time period has passed.
Q - What happens if I exceed my package limits?
Unlike most hosts we will not instantly disable your package if you exceed its limits. Infact we will warn you when you pass 80% usage, and again when you reach 99% usage, then we will give you the option to either purchase a temporary amount of extra bandwidth or space (whichever is required) or to fully upgrade your package to something more suitable.
Q - Can you customize a package for me?
Unlike most hosts we will bend over backwards to give you the hosting solution you want. If none of our pre-made plans entirely suits your needs then contact us with what you require and we will give you a quote free of charge.
Q - What ways can I pay by?
We currently process orders via Google Checkout, which accepts major credit and debit cards, including VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, and Solo and PayPal.
Q - How do I register a domain name?
We offer our own domain registration service, because of this we can offer very competetive domain prices all the time. This service is instant upon reciept of payment, the domain service will be available for you to log in and edit. Instant registration means it takes you less time to get your brand new website online.
Q - What happens if I decide to leave your service?
You are free to leave at any time. If your products are billed monthly your product will remain active to the month end then it will be removed. If your product is paid annually, any complete monthly payments will be refunded. For example If you decide to leave with 6 full months and 5 days remaining then you will be refunded the 6 months and the product will remain active for the 5 days remaining of the current month.
Q - Why should I use you as a host over anybody else?
We believe we have the edge over most hosts out there in the 2 core areas:
- Pricing - Our prices are as aggressive as we can make them whilst still making a profit. We are always looking for ways to increase our products without increasing the prices or even whilst decreasing them at the same time. There may be some cheaper hosts out there but they will probably be overselling their products to enable them to do so.
- Customer Service - We aim to keep every client as happy as possible through our friendly and knowledgeable staff. You will be assigned, & always deal with, the same member of staff at Custom-Tech, unlike so many web hosts who out source to 3rd party customer support. All our staff are based in the UK.
