All reformatting does is remove the links to the files on the drive, the data is still physically held on the drive and anyone can get at this with recovery programs freely available. With just a few simple pieces of information, someone could potentially get a passport, a personal credit or a driving license in your name.

Our Data Cleanse service will remove all the data from your PC, allowing it to be disposed of safely or passed on to someone else without the worry of your data being recovered later by unscrupulous individuals. We use DoD 5220-22.M military standards to ensure the destruction of your data is to a secure level. This means that the entire drive will be completely overwritten 3 times. There will be no way of ever recovering the data once this process has been completed.
